ANKARA, Nov 23: The Turkish authorities arrested 46 persons who took to social media to criticize their country's offensive in northern Syria.

The detainees are facing accusations of inciting hatred and insulting the Turkish state, according to Al Arabiya channel.

The arrests are part of an oppressive campaign waged by Turkish authorities against the opposition.
