Egypt, Belarus mull higher education cooperation

CAIRO, Nov 17 (MENA) – Minister of Higher Education Khaled Abdel Ghafar on Sunday received Belarus Ambassador in Cairo Sergei Terentiev to consider means to promote cooperation in the higher education and scientific research fields.

The minister stressed that Egypt is keen to cement cooperation ties with Belarus in all fields, highlighting the need to increase number exchange students between both countries.

He lauded positive developments of Egyptian-Belarusian strategic ties.

The ambassador praised good ties between both countries, hoping that his country could have further cooperation with Egypt to the fields of common interests for the two countries.

Both sides also discussed the proposal of the executive program between the two counties’ ministries of higher education and scientific research to cooperate in different fields of researches.
