UMS to launch “ON Time Sports’ channels in 2020

CAIRO - 16 November 2019: United Media Services (UMS) and the National Media Authority announced launching “ON Time Sports” channels early in 2020 to be available without subscription on satellite TV hiring POD as an advertising agent.

ON Sport, which was launched in 2016, and Time Sports, which was launched prior to AFCON 2019, will merge with the new channels as they have achieved outstanding success.

UMS Chairman Tamer Morsi stated that ON Time Sports will build upon what has been accomplished adding distinguished content and acquiring exclusive broadcasting rights targeting Egyptian and Arab viewers. The UMS chairman highlighted the group’s eagerness to appear in an outstanding image based upon a strong infrastructure, and a team of professionals.

Chairman of the National Media Authority Hussein Zain praised the cooperation with UMS and affirmed that the terrestrial version of Time Sports will continue to present the content of terrestrial broadcasting rights acquired.
