Sisi took rapid steps to develop Upper Egypt: Parliament speaker

CAIRO, 22 Oct 2019: Speaker of the House of Representatives Ali Abdel Aal affirmed on Tuesday that President Abdel Fattah El Sisi pays great attention to the development of Upper Egypt, noting that he has taken rapid steps in this regard.

Abdel Aal made the remarks during a parliament's general session held to discuss a number of issues in various governorates, during which he called on the government to take further action to develop Upper Egypt.
