SOCHI, Russia, Oct 22 (MENA) - President Abdel Fattah El Sisi arrived in Sochi, Russia, Tuesday to attend a Russia-Africa economic cooperation forum, the first, to kick start here Wednesday.
Sisi and Russia's Vladimir Putin will co-chair the event, which will focus on Russian-African cooperation in the fields of investment, industry, trade exchange, housing, science, education, media, infrastructure and nuclear technology.
Figuring high at the forum will also be the file of Africa's economic independence and Russia's contribution to sustainable development in the continent.
Participants will also probe long-term joint projects and economic zones, which help effectively encourage production.
The forum will mainly tackle efforts to upgrade economic relations, establish joint projects and boost social cooperation.
