BEIRUT, Oct 19 (MENA) - Lebanon's security forces opened most of the roads that have been closed over the past two days in the wake of the violent protests sweeping the country.
Barriers have been removed and the remains of fires and smashes that filled the streets of Beirut have been cleaned.
Tens of protesters started flocking to Riad al Solh square in central Beirut amid robust security presence to prevent the repetition of clashes, riots or fires that occurred yesterday.
All roads leading to Rafic Hariri International Airport have been opened, an official at Lebanon's Internal Security Forces directorate told MENA.
He added that traffic movement on these roads and on most Beirut's roads is calm and normal.
