Allam: Egypt facing fierce war against terrorism

CAIRO - 3 October 2019: Mufti of Egypt Shawki Allam said on Thursday Egypt is facing a fierce war against terrorism that is as great as the 1973 October war.

While facing terrorism, the country is moving towards achieving comprehensive development and societal security, Allam said at a seminar at Menouifia University.

He paid tribute to the courageous soldiers who sacrificed their lives during the October war for the homeland.

At the end, he warned students not to be dragged by rumors and lies that are being spread by social media websites.
