CAIRO - 2 October 2019: The Roads and Bridges Authority announced on Tuesday that Adly Mansour Axis Road will be inaugurated in BeniSuef governorate within days.
The length of the road is 4.5 kilometers and connects the Eastern DesretKoraimat Road to the Western Agricultural Cairo-Aswan Road and BeniSuef-Fayoum road to the west. The cost of the construction is LE1.2 billion.
The road will alleviate traffic on Beni Suef Bridge,stretching over the Nile River, and will facilitate the crossing of trucks between the river banks in the governorate, connecting them together.
The Roads and Bridges Authority confirmed in August that the project of upgrading the efficiency and expansion of Gamasa-Mansoura road with a length of 50 km and will be completed in May 2020 at a cost of LE 1.05 billion.
According to a statement issued by the authority on Monday, the road is currently constructed by state-owned Nile Company for the Construction of Roads, noting that the construction works began in May 2018.
The authority said that the implementation of the road is of great importance to link Mansoura, Gamasa with the international coast road.
