Awqaf min. asserts necessity of int'l cooperation to face terror, extremist thinking

MOSCOW, Sept 24 (MENA) - Awqaf Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa asserted the importance of international cooperation in the face of terror and extremist thinking.

In his address on Tuesday during a conference held in Moscow on Islam and cultural dialogue, Gomaa said that terror should be eradicated anywhere.

Gomaa said that Islam aims at peace and believes in the rights of the different religions and races.

Several ministers, muftis and scholars from different Islamic countries are taking part in the event.
