2.7 quake hits Cairo; no casualties

CAIRO, Sept 20 (MENA) - A 2.7-magnitude earthquake hit Cairo at 17:35 CLT Friday, President of National Research Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics Gad Mohamed El Qady said in a statement.

The epicenter of the earthquake was at the depth of 3.72 km in southeastern Cairo, it added.

No casualties were reported after the light quake.
