Mufti praises Sisi's efforts to upgrade health care sector

CAIRO 4 September 2019: Mufti of Egypt Dr Shawki Allam Wednesday praised President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's concern with the health of the Egyptian people and the great initiatives taken to develop the health sector in general.

Addressing a consultative Islamic world meeting held at Al Azhar headquarters to discuss eradicating infantile paralysis (polio), Allam said the participation of Al Azhar, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and other Islamic institutions give hope in eradicating such dangerous disease.

He noted efforts to eliminate all obstacles that hinder development and progress in the Islamic nation for the best interest of Mankind, regardless of race, color or religion
