Japan's Emperor receives President Sisi in Tokyo

CAIRO - 30 August 2019: Emperor Naruhito of Japan received Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi in Tokyo on Friday, said Presidential Spokesperson Bassam Radi.

The meeting was held at the Imperial Palace in Tokyo. President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi, head of the African Union for 2019, is participating in the 7th Tokyo International Conference on Africa's Development (TICAD) in Japan's Yokohama.

During his visit, President Sisi held a series of bilateral meetings with Japanese officials and businessmen, beside African leaders on the sidelines of the summit.
