MOSCOW, 28 Aug 2019: Over 1,343 Syrian refugees have returned to their home country from Jordan and Lebanon over the past 24 hours, the Russian Center for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides in Syria said Wednesday.
Over the past day, 417 people, including 125 women and 213 children, left Lebanon for Syria via the Jaydet-Yabus and Talkalakh check points, and 926 people,including 278 women and 472 children, from Jordan via the Nasib checkpoint, the center added.
The center said that two internally displaced Syrians had recently returned to their places of permanent residence in the country.
According to the statement, the Syrian engineering units defused 35 explosive devices in the country in 2.0 hectares of the Syrian lands over the past 24 hours.
