CAIRO –12 June 2017: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi will discuss bilateral commercial relations with the German Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy Brigitte Zypries on Monday.
Sisi will attend G20 Africa Partnership summit in Berlin. Under the title “Investing in a Common Future,” the two-day conference will focus on creating future opportunities for African youth in light of the continent’s population growth and cooperation between the G20 and African countries.
President Sisi’s attendance comes in response to German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s invitation, issued during her March visit to Cairo in recognition of Egypt’s ability as a regional powerbroker to promote collaboration in all fields between African countries and the G20 forum.
