Egyptian Ambassador in Berlin Badr Abdel Aati
BERLIN, Aug 19 (MENA) - Egypt's Ambassador in Berlin Badr Abdel Aati said Egyptian-German relations have prospered in the political, economic, trade, scientific, education and tourism domains in recent years.
During a meeting with a number of postgraduate students studying for master's and doctoral degrees at the University of Berlin, the diplomat said that many German companies, topped by Bosch, Mercedes and Siemens, have enhanced their business in Egypt.
Germany also set up factories and training and technology centers in Egypt, and established the German International University of Applied Sciences in the New Administrative Capital.
For their part, the students said that they are looking forward to returning home after they complete their scholarships to transfer the hands-on experience they gained to their homeland.
