Sisi opens 2nd phase of greenhouse national project

MARSA MATROUH, Egypt, Aug 17 (MENA) - President Abdel Fattah El Sisi opened on Saturday a number of national projects including 1,300 greenhouses set up on an area of 10,000 feddans as part of the second phase of Mohamed Naguib sector for protected agriculture.

President Sisi also inaugurated a factory for packaging the products to be produced by the project in addition to a complex for seed production.

The opening ceremony was attended by Speaker of the Egyptian House of Representatives Ali Abdel Aal, Minister of Defense Mohamed Zaki and Presidential Aide for National and Strategic Projects Sherif Ismail along with a number of ministers and senior state officials.

The ceremony started with recitation of some verses of the Holy Quran.
