EgyptAir said the first ever flight for the sixth and last Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner which arrived earlier Wednesday at Cairo International Airport to join the company's fleet is set to be operated on the company's route to Beijing as of Sunday, August 18.
The B787-9 Dreamliner will be the 75th aircraft to reach the phase of actual operation after the implementation of a plan to renovate and develop EgyptAir's fleet.
In a statement, the national flagship carrier said that it is determined to proceed with its strategy aiming to cope up with the international companies in view of developing the standard of services offered to its customers.
Earlier in the day, EgyptAir received its sixth and last Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, as part of a deal to purchase six jets of the same model.
