CAIRO - 4 August 2019: The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah launched Saturday a new website to receive requests of Qatari citizens wishing to perform Hajj rituals.

According to a statement issued by Saudi ministry that the measure was taken after the Qatari authorities blocked a previous website.

The statement also reported that King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman issued directives to facilitate the arrival of all pilgrims and overcome and obstacles that may face them to perform the rituals.

Saudi Arabia will continue to provide all means to facilitate the arrival of Qatari brothers wishing to perform Hajj, it added. "The attempts of the Qatari regime to politicize Hajj will not deter the Kingdom from providing all facilities to perform the fifth pillar of Islam."

The Saudi ministry urged the Qatari authorities not to block the new site and facilitate Hajj of their fellow Qatari citizens.

Egypt, Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Bahrain cut their relation with Qatar because of its support of terrorism and continued interference in other countries' affairs.

Later, the four states proposed demands to resume relations, but Doha refused them
