PARIS - 11 June 2017: Turnout in Sunday's first round of French parliamentary election voting had reached 19.24 percent by midday (1000 GMT), the interior ministry said, below the 21.06 percent recorded at the same time of day during the first-round ballot in 2012.

BFM TV had earlier reported the interior ministry's midday tally at 19.22 percent, before correcting itself.
