CAIRO - 27 July 2019: The Court of Cassation on Saturday upheld sentences handed down against 12 elements of Muslim Brotherhood terrorist group on charges of protesting, assaulting citizens and police officers as well as causing a state of chaos in Damietta governorate in May 2015.
A criminal court has previously sentenced five defendants to three years in prison, four others to two years in jail and three of them to 10 years.
