UNWTO Congratulates Egypt’s tourism on National Day

CAIRO – 24 July 2019: The Secretary-General of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), Zurab Pololikashvili, was keen to congratulate the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism on Tuesday that marked the National Day.

Pololikashvili expressed his hopes for a better Egyptian future in the sector of tourism and cooperation able to create opportunities in the region.





Egyptian Minister of Tourism Rania El-Mashat has launched in 2018 a hopeful five-pillar strategy to rebrand Egypt, better the legislative framework governing the industry. The strategy- called E-Trip- came in response to the increase of tourists visiting Egypt during the years 2017 and 2018.
