Al Azhar Imam greets Sisi on July revolution anniversary

CAIRO, 22 July 2019: Al Azhar Grand Imam Ahmed el Tayyeb on Sunday greeted President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on the 67th anniversary of the 23rd July Revolution.

El Tayyeb also greeted Egyptian people and brave commanders, officers and soldiers of the Armed Forces on the occasion.

Al Azhar reiterated in a statement to mark this great event, that the revolution has set the best example for other countries in the way it showed the unity of the Egyptian people and the Armed Forces to achieve the nation’s aspirations, praising the current vital role played by Egypt’s loyal army to maintain the security and stability of the homeland.

It urged Egyptians to work hard to fulfill their hopes and aspirations, wishing Egypt more prosperity and stability.
