CAIRO - 21 July 2019: The 7th National Youth conference will be held July 30-31, 2019 under the auspices of President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi in the new administrative capital to exchange views on the most important issues that concern the youth sector and the Egyptian state.
Sisi’s participation shows his keenness on continuing dialogue with Egyptian youth from various sectors for the seventh year.
The conference will be held over two days and will be attended by a large number of young people representing many segments Egyptian youth, including university, athletes, intellectuals, media and youth parties registered on the conference’s website.
The conference serves as a forum that provides an opportunity for promising Egyptian youth to have direct dialogue with the Egyptian state and its various institutions to chart a better future through a national vision, scientific planning and constructive dialogue.
On the sidelines of the conference, the donors conference on the initiative of Hayat Karima, or “dignified life,” will be held for the first time to emphasize the Egyptian state's keenness to eradicate poverty and provide a decent life for Egyptians in poorer villages in cooperation with private sectors, civil institutions and development partners.
The 6th National youth Conference was held on July 28, 2018, and was attended by President Sisi at Cairo University. Much like last year, education reform plans are expected to be displayed on the first day, while the president will answer questions by citizens as part of his initiative “Ask the President.”
Up to 3,000 young people attended the two-day event in 2018, and choosing Cairo University campus had a significant meaning, as is the theme was human development and education reforms.
