CAIRO - 18 July 2019: The Arab League held Israeli authorities responsible for killing Palestinian prisoner Nassar Taqatqa inside an Israel detention center during his interrogation.
Reports said Qataqta was held in solitary confinement a matter that harmed him psychologically and physically.
Arab League assistant secretary general for Palestine affairs and occupied Arab territories Saeed Abu Ali warned that such cruel Israeli measures lead to the "slow killing" of the Palestinians, pointing out that a number of prisoners died in similar circumstances.
He called on human rights organizations to play a humanitarian and legal role in protecting the Palestinians in line with international treaties concerning prisoners of wars and the principles of human rights mentioned in the Global Declaration of Human Rights, as well as the Geneva convention
