Goethe Institute in Alex launches competition on environment protection

ALEXANDRIA, July 14 (MENA) - The director of Goethe Institute in Alexandria launched on Sunday a competition titled "I will protect the environment today" to float ideas on means of protecting the environment.

The competition is open for applicants aging between 18 to 25 years and applications are accepted till July 27.

The applicants are required to express their ideas in photographs about means of protecting the environment and a jury committee will choose ten projects whose owners are to float their ideas at a workshop in the presence of a number of environment experts.

The subjects of the participating projects should cover the issues of renewable energy, urban gardens, climate change, waste of resources and plastic recycling.
