CAIRO – 10 June 2017: The Chamber of Security and Defense in the Libyan Parliament issued a statement Saturday supporting the list of terrorist bodies set by four other Arab countries: Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain.

Sky News Arabia reported that the list consists of 75 individuals and nine terrorist bodies affiliated with or residing in Qatar.

Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Bahrain announced in a joint statement early Friday that they have included 59 individuals and 12 organizations with ties to Qatar on their terrorism watch list.

The statement added that the continuous and ongoing “violations” by authorities in Doha of Qatar’s commitments and obligations enshrined in agreements to which it is a signatory have necessitated the four countries to update their respective lists of designated terrorist organizations and individuals.
