Deputy FM to participate in coordination meeting of China-Africa forum

CAIRO, June 22 (MENA) - Deputy Foreign Minister for African Affairs Hamdy Loza will take part in a ministerial coordination meeting of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC), to be held on Monday and Tuesday in Beijing.

The meeting comes to follow up the results of FOCAC Beijing Summit, which was held on September 3-4, 2018 with the participation of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement Saturday.

Loza will deliver Egypt’s speech at the event on behalf of Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry, added the statement.

The Egyptian diplomat is also set to hold a number of bilateral meetings with senior Chinese officials and heads of African delegations participating in the meeting.
