CAIRO, June 3 (MENA) - Al Azhar Observatory for Combating Extremism issued on Monday a detailed report on its publications, reports and files that it has issued since its inauguration four years ago.
The report said that Azhar Observatory, since its inauguration in 2015, is addressing world countries in 12 languages in a bid to combat extremist thoughts and correct the wrong concepts about Islam as well as counter the claims by the terrorist groups to attract the youths.
The Observatory also issued publications to combat the phenomenon of Islamophobia and addressed the conditions of Muslims worldwide, according to the report.
The report also said the Observatory has issued as many as 30 books in Arabic and 10 in foreign languages detailing the schemes of Daesh terrorist group to spread its ideology in the world especially among youths.
Azhar website also published as many as 1,900 releases in Arabic and 2,100 in foreign languages to comment on various issues concerning Muslims.
