Cairo sees hot weather Sunday, records highs of 35°C

CAIRO - 11 May 2019: Meteorological experts expected a hot weather in Cairo and Northern Upper Egypt on Sunday, with the temperature reaching highs of 35°C.

The temperature will be higher in cities located in the southern Upper Egypt, while a moderate weather will be witnessed on the Northern Coasts of the country.

A scorching hot weather hit the country on the first day of Holy Ramadan, and gradually relented since then.

Temperatures are expected to be as follows:

Cairo: 35°C - 18°C
Alexandria: 26°C - 15°C
Mersa Matruh: 24°C - 18°C
Sohag: 36°C - 18°C
Qena: 37°C – 19°C
Aswan: 38°C – 20°C
