CAIRO – 27 April 2019: A hot wave announced this week to continue on Saturday, with temperature in Cairo hitting highs of 32 °C on Saturday, according to a statement by the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA).
Temperature will alleviate at night, and will record 17°C.
Hot weather will prevail in southern governorates, while coastal cities will witness colder weather where low clouds could gather, the statement added.
The EMA has announced two days ago, a hot wave to hit the country and will last for around 10 days.
Temperatures are expected to be as follows:
Cairo: 32°C - 17°C
Alexandria: 27°C - 16°C
Mersa Matruh: 26°C - 14°C
Sohag: 36°C - 20°C
Qena: 37°C – 21°C
Aswan: 37°C – 22°C
