Assar discusses joint cooperation with Bechtel regional president

CAIRO – 16 April 2019: Military Production Minister Mohamed Said el Assar discussed Tuesday with Stuart Jones, Bechtel regional president for Europe and the Middle East, means of promoting bilateral cooperation in various fields, including establishing water desalination stations.

According to a statement issued by the ministry, the meeting underlined the State's keenness on improving the investment climate and encouraging international companies to benefit from investment opportunities in various projects, including energy and infrastructure projects.

The meeting also tackled means of promoting bilateral cooperation in the infrastructure projects.

Meanwhile, Jones said that he is looking forward to enhancing cooperation with the Military Production Ministry in lightof its great industrial, technological and technical potential.

He added that Bechtel Company has been working in the field of implementing major projects in Egypt for over 40 years.

The two sides agreed that a Bechtel delegation will visit the military production companies to stand on their potentials for cooperation vistas.
