CAIRO - 7 June 2017: An editor in Breitbart news network, Katie McHugh, has been fired for speaking about Islam and immigration in Europe on Monday.

McHugh has previously stated Islamophobic tweets on her personal account earlier following the terror attacks in London, mentioning, “There would be no deadly terror attacks in the U.K. if Muslims didn’t live there.”

She later mentioned Breitbart news network action saying, “Breitbart news fired me for telling the truth about Islam and Muslim immigration,” on her twitter account, causing a social media outcry.

Wesearchr is an American fundraising platform, is raising funds to support McHugh pay her living expenses until she finds another job.

Employees at Breitbart were appalled by the comments of their colleague according to CNN, saying, “It was wrong to make a blanket statement about an entire religious group,” one unnamed employee said to CNN.

London has experienced terror attacks earlier leaving seven dead and others wounded.
