Kaaki lauds Sisi’s speech in Arab League Summit

CAIRO - 4 April 2019: Lebanese writer Yehia Ahmed Kaaki assured the strategic significance of Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi’s speech in the Arab League Summit in Tunisia where Sisi warned of the existence of lots of terrorist elements.

“His speech was so condensed and direct; he hit the nail on the head, tackling all subjects of concern and referring to perils that threat the stability and unity of the Arab world,” Kaaki said in his daily article in Lebanese Daily News.

“Sisi's warnings aim to unify the Arab countries against terrorism, dissociation, and sectarianism,” Kaaki further elaborated.

Kaaki lauded Sisi’s calls to renew religious discourse to keep up with the ongoing actions and convey the real principles of Islam such as co-existence, tolerance, equality and citizenship.

Kaaki agreed with Sisi’s point of view that the collapse of any country in the Middle East will result in the interference of external forces that want to exploit and make use of our resources and strategic location. Thus, all Arab countries have to cooperate against any threat.

“Despite the miserable conditions the world is witnessing, Sisi stands against all threats and insists on the prevalence of political decrees,” Kaaki stated.
