MOSCOW, March 27 (MENA) - Some 1,046 Syrian refugees have returned to their home country from neighboring Jordan and Lebanon over the past 24 hours, the Russian Center for Reconciliation said on Wednesday.

"Over the past 24 hours, a total of 1,046 refugees returned to the Syrian Arab Republic from the territory of foreign states: 164 people (including 49 women and 84 children) left Lebanon for Syria via the Jaydet-Yabus and Talkalakh checkpoints and 882 people (including 265 women and 450 children) returned from Jordan via the Nassib checkpoint," the center, quoted by Sputnik news agency, added.

According to the bulletin, 72 internally displaced persons have also returned home within the past 24 hours.
