Awqaf min. welcomes Sisi's call to renew humanitarian discourse

CAIRO, March 18 (MENA) - Awqaf Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa welcomed a call by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to renew humanitarian discourse.

In a statement on Monday, Gomaa said Egypt is capable of forging a modern humanitarian theory in line with the sublime Islamic culture.

This theory will be based on respecting the other and traditions as well as renouncing violence, hatred, extremism and terrorism.

He underlined the importance of disseminating Islam and realizing sustainable development.
