ASWAN, March 17 (MENA) - Youths participating in the Arab African Forum, which kicked off on Saturday, underlined the importance of the forum in achieving rapprochement between the Arab and African regions and getting acquainted with other cultures.
In statements to MENA, youths asserted Egypt's pioneering role in Africa and the region and its endeavors to gather the largest number of youths to expound their ideas in front of a galaxy of experts to crystallize a vision for the coming years.
Mohammed Haroun, from Chad, thanked Egypt for sponsoring the forum which opened the gate for exchanging viewpoints and cultures, noting that President Abdel Fattah El Sisi is the first Arab president to launch such initiative to support youths in the Arab and African worlds.
Meanwhile, Mazen Mohammed, from Sudan, said this forum is closing a wide gap between the youths in the two regions, asserting that the values enriched by such a forum would increase expertise of the youths regarding the organization of such conferences and would also help increase awareness of youths about the wealth found in the African continent.
Riyad Dermia, from Morocco, also said the work sessions held on the fringe of the forum focused on means of changing education systems and the application of state-of-the-art technologies in schools in order to avoid mistakes of current generations and make a genuine change in the future of the continent.
He called for encouraging more youths to present their ideas in such forums to benefit their countries and enhance the ties between the Arab and African youths.
