CAIRO – 5 June 2017: EgyptAir launched a new advertising campaign on Sunday marking its 85th anniversary since its establishment.
EgyptAir is holding a celebration in participation with a number of Egyptian, Arab and international super stars to announce implementing development plans of the company to follow up world air transportation companies.
EgyptAir will receive the 5th new B737-800 NG aircraft as a part of a deal with Boeing to update its fleet by purchasing 9 aircrafts.
According to a poll conducted by world major institutions, EgyptAir aircrafts are pioneer in fulfilling passengers’ aspirations to enjoy their flights on Egypt Air aircrafts boards and covering needs of different markets worldwide.
Lately, in the presence of Civil Aviation Minister Sherif Fathy, EgyptAir celebrated the 20th anniversary of setting up Star Alliance, in which EgyptAir has joined in 2008 to be the 21st member among 28 other world senior air companies.
EgyptAir distributed souvenirs with logo of “85 years” among passengers at Cairo International Airport on Sunday.
“We are so proud of working under chairmanship of Star Alliance, a world major alliance in the field of air transportation industry and the best globally,” Chairman of EgyptAir Safwat Moslem said, expressing his happiness on this occasion.
“The Star Alliance succeeded throughout its history in adding a huge number of advantages and new services for its clients, the alliance operates more than 18400 flights daily to 1300 airports in 191 countries around the world,” Moslem added.
