British amb. lauds Egyptian reforms in energy sector

CAIRO, Feb 26 (MENA) - British Ambassador Geoffrey Adams on Tuesday lauded economic reforms by the Egyptian government in the energy and power sector.

At a meeting with Minister of Electricity Mohamed Shaker, the British envoy added that these reforms allowed the private sector to invest in the energy and power sector.

They also helped attract more investors to the sector, he pointed.

He lauded as well political relations between the two countries and underscored the necessity of promoting bilateral relations.

He also expressed his country's desire to pump more investments in Egypt and contribute to renewable energy projects in the country.
