Egyptian Ambassador in Berlin Badr Abdel Aati
BERLIN, Feb 17 (MENA) - Egyptian Ambassador in Berlin Badr Abdel Aati asserted that President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's speech at Munich Security Conference (MSC) was widely welcomed by the European leaders and intellectuals and politicians of the world.
In statements to "Extra News" TV on Sunday, Ambassador Abdel Aati said Sisi's participation at MSC is a historic one, noting that his speech covered Egypt's vision regarding a set of issues especially stability and security in Africa, the Middle East region and the world at large.
Many participants at MSC praised Sisi's vision as regards the challenges pertaining to terrorism and illegal immigration.
As regards Sisi's meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, the ambassador said the meeting was held in a very positive atmosphere, noting that both sides are fully satisfied with the level of relations between Egypt and Germany in the economic, trade and military fields.
