FM takes part in meetings of AU FMs Executive Council

ADDIS ABABA - 8 February 2019: Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry on Friday took part in meetings of the African Union Foreign Ministers Executive Council.

The meetings, which started on Thursday, are preparing for the 32nd African summit that will kick off here on Sunday in which Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi will take part.

The ministers are taking up technical reports by sub-committees and a memorandum on the main topic of this year's summit about the refugees and internally displaced and reaching solutions to the issue.

President Sisi will receive on Sunday the African Union chairmanship for the year 2019 from Rwandan President Paul Kagame
