Rain, lower temperatures to hit Egypt Wednesday

CAIRO – 5 February 2019: The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) said that Egypt will witness lower temperatures and rainy weather on Wednesday, Feb. 6, and that temperatures will record 14°C in Cairo.

Rainfall is expected nationwide, and heavy rains and thunder are expected to hit the southern parts of the country. Temperatures are also expected to drop in Alexandria and the Nile Delta governorates.

The unstable weather will cause a decline in visibility and disorder in maritime navigation on the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea.
