Madbouli, Sharjah Ruler open renovated National Library 'Dar Al Kotob'

CAIRO, Feb 3 (MENA) - Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli and Sharjah Ruler Sultan bin Muhammad Al-Qasimi opened on Sunday the National Library and Archives (Dar Al Kotob ) after renovation.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Minister of Culture Enas Abdel-Dayem, Awqaf Minister Mohamed Gomaa, and Antiquities Minister Khaled Anani.

Head of the Actors Syndicate Ashraf Zaki and National Press Authority chief Karam Gabr were also present.

A documentary was aired during the event on the renovation projects as the building was damaged by terrorists in 2014.

Addressing the ceremony, the Sharjah ruler said the initial cost of the project went up from EGP 26 million to 30 million.
