CAIRO – 26 January 2019: Minister of Civil Aviation has affirmed that on occasion of the 89th anniversary of Civil Aviation, a new service, namely “Ahlan” (Hello), will be offered for people with special needs during flights.
“Ahlan” costs 600 L.E for Egyptian passengers and $100 for foreigners passengers; yet, it will be offered for free to mark the celebration.
The minister, and Rania Al-Mashat, minister of tourism, attended the anniversary celebration that coincides with the beginning of operations at the Sphinx International Airport.
It is scheduled to operate about 15 flights a week to serve the internal movement during the half-year vacation in Egypt. Flights are set to head from the Sphinx Airport to Luxor, Aswan, Sharm El-Sheikh, Hurghada and vice versa.
Moreover, the New Administrative Capital Airport will be inaugurated in April, while the International Berenice Airport that will be inaugurated at the end of 2019.
