Egypt's Court of Cassation - CC
CAIRO - 15 January 2019: The court of cassation on Tuesday postponed to February 19 looking into complaints by defendants of Agnad Misr terrorist group against previous Giza court rulings.
The court decision was made to continue consultations over the case.
The defendants were sentenced to different sentences ranging between five years in jail and death penalty.
The court had sentenced 13 of them to death, 17 to life in jail, two to 15 years in prison and seven to five years in jail while five were acquitted.
They are facing charges of planting explosives and targeting security checkpoints and police stations along with forming a terrorist group.
