Planning, communications ministers review cooperation with TPG FIG in micro enterprises

CAIRO - 2 January 2019: Ministers Hala el Said of Planning and Amr Talaat of Communications and IT had talks with representatives for TPG FIG company on means of promoting cooperation in order to buttress micro projects.

In a press release on Wednesday, Said underlined the role of the private sector in supporting micro, small and medium size enterprises within the framework of Egypt Vision 2030 for sustainable development.

She referred to the state efforts to encourage micro projects, noting that Rowad 2030 which is being implemented by the ministry also serves this goal.

Meanwhile, Talaat said the ministry secures funding for micro projects through post offices, noting that such enterprises play a pivotal role in creating jobs and increasing production.

TPG FIG representatives reviewed their company's most important projects around the globe and welcomed cooperation with the Egyptian government.

They highlighted the vital role of the private sector in supporting development projects.
