Shoukry delivers message from Sisi to Bashir

KHARTOUM, 27 Dec 2018: Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry said that he delivered a message from President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to his Sudanese counterpart Omar el Bashir asserting Egypt's support for bilateral ties and the importance of achieving stability between both countries.

This came in a press conference on Thursday between Shoukry and his Sudanese opposite number el Dardiri Mohamed Ahmed after a four-way meeting between foreign ministers and intelligence chiefs of Egypt and Sudan.

Shoukry said that stability in Sudan is very important for the stability in Egypt and vice versa.

Egypt fully supports Sudan and the efforts exerted to achieve its security, he said.
He said that the meeting took up regional and international issues of mutual interest.
