Parliament approves bill on arms and ammunition

CAIRO – 23 December 2018: Egypt's House of Representatives approved on Sunday a bill submitted by the government to modify some articles of law no. 394 of 1954 on arms and ammunition.

The House debated a report by a joint committee of the Constitutional and Legislative Affairs Committee and the Defense and National Security Committee bureau on the bill and approved all its articles before referring it to the State Council which reviewed and returned it to the legislature for a final vote.
