CAPMAS extends census period, urge citizens to engage more

CAIRO – 31 May 2017: Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) extend the census period until June 5, urging citizens to cooperate with agency’s representatives and give them their data within census period, in a statement released Wednesday.

“In case the representative did not pay you a visit, please dial the free contact number 080077771777,” the statement reads, pointing out that services card will be distributed on citizens for free during census.

Census period was supposed to be ended on May 26, but since the campaign has not achieved its goals, the CAPMAS decided to extend the period.
