Africa 2018 Forum kicks off communication platform among investors, govts

SHARM EL SHEIKH - 7 December 2018: CEO of COMESA Regional Investment Agency (RIA) Heba Salama said Africa 2018 Forum is one of the most important communication platforms among investors, governments and decision-makers in Africa.

Via its cooperation with regional and international governments and organizations, COMESA RIA seeks to facilitate communication and getting acquainted with investment opportunities inside Africa, Salama told MENA a day before the forum.

In the same regard, she lauded the efforts of the Egyptian government, which she said presents a model to follow in Africa to support integration among the continent’s countries.

Africa 2018 Forum, organized by COMESA and the Ministry of Investment and International Cooperation, will kick off Saturday in Sharm el Sheikh resort city under the auspices of President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi.

The two-day event will bring together more than 3,000 African and international figures, topped by several African heads of state.
