CAIRO, Nov 25 (MENA) - Rowad 2030 project - which was established under the umbrella of the Ministry of Planning, Follow-up and Administrative Reform - launched on Sunday a four-day awareness campaign in six governorates.
It aims at raising awareness on the importance of spreading the culture of private entrepreneurship and self employment.
Planning Minister Hala el Said said the campaign falls within the framework of a series of awareness campaigns launched in Luxor, Ismailia, Cairo, Giza and Qaliobiya.
The current campaign is divided into two stages, she said, noting that the first stage will be held on Sunday and Monday in Alexandria, Beheira and Matrouh governorates.
The second stage will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday in Kafr el Sheikh, Gharbiya and Monofiya.
The campaign is meant to spread the culture of self-employment by encouraging students in commercial and technical schools to enter the fields of entrepreneurship through training and developing their skills to be in line with the labor market.
It also aims to provide a special curriculum for entrepreneurship by experts in the field and supervise them to create a new generation of entrepreneurs who can use their scientific knowledge to create companies.
It also aims to highlight the role of entrepreneurship in the development of the knowledge economy.
